LITTLE LEAGUE

Per California state law, SSLL volunteers must be fingerprinted through the U.S. Department of Justice. For privacy reasons related to viewing the results of the scan, volunteers must be fingerprinted for each organization separately, including SSLL. State law says that fingerprints given for another organization (e.g., work, non-profit, etc) are not visible to SSLL and do not satisfy the requirement to be fingerprinted for SSLL. There is no cost for fingerprinting, as our league maintains a payment card on file with Pacific Homecare Services.

Volunteers must also complete the Adult Abuse Awareness course in order to volunteer in our league.

Volunteer Clearance Process/Fingerprinting

1. Fill Out Live Scan Form: Download and print the SSLL Livescan information form. This form includes our league's DOJ registration number. Please complete the remaining sections of the form.

2. Get Fingerprinted: Bring your completed form to Pacific Homecare Services (located inside Legacy Homes at 3202 W. March Ln., suite D) to complete fingerprinting. Fingerprinting is done by appointment only. Please the appointment link below to schedule.

Step 3 Getting Cleared: The fingerprinting results will be sent directly to our League Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will only confirm whether an individual is “cleared” or “not cleared.” No further details are shared with anyone else in the organization.
